Last updated 15 October 2026
This explains what personal information Dream collects, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. We handle your information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we are
Dream (dreamnet.ng), Maryland, Lagos, Nigeria, is responsible for your information. You can reach us at dreamcardsng@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email, phone and WhatsApp number, and an encrypted version of your password. We never store your password itself.
- Your cards: the name, company, job title, numbers, email, photo, industry, state and links you put on each card, and how many times it has been tapped.
- Your orders: what you ordered, delivery details and payment status. Payments are handled by Paystack, so we never see your card number.
- Your messages in the Dream Network, and when they were read.
- Messages you send us through the Contact form.
- A login cookie that keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
What other people can see
- Anyone who taps or opens your card can see what you have chosen to show on your card page, and the contact file they save contains the same details. You control this from Edit card.
- Members of Dream can see your name, role, company, industry, state and photo in the Dream Network, only if you switch on the Network for that card. They cannot see your phone number or email there.
- Card pages are not listed on search engines.
How we use your information
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
- To run your account, make and deliver your cards, and make your card pages work.
- To take payment, and to pay referral earnings.
- To power the Dream Network and messaging.
- To reply to you, and to keep Dream secure and prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
We use trusted services to run Dream, and they handle your information on our behalf:
Our service providers
Some of these servers are outside Nigeria, including in the United Kingdom. We only use providers that protect information to a proper standard. We may also share information if the law requires it.
- Paystack, to process payments.
- Neon, to store our database.
- Vercel, to host the website and store uploaded photos.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. Order and payment records are kept for as long as the law and our accounts require. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and card pages, apart from records we are required to keep.
Your rights
To use any of these rights, email dreamcardsng@gmail.com. We will reply within a reasonable time.
- See the information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong (most of it you can edit yourself in your account and cards).
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it.
- Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if you think we have handled your information badly.
Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong password and keep it private.
Children
Dream is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
